annie hall sketches

Annie sketches: These are all I could salvage from my lost files. Made last February 2005 when, well, I was in a hell hole (slightly different from the hell hole I'm in now) and I didn't have anything better to do. :o)

lemon

I am such a disgrace to all fellow alarmists out there. I've always known/expected my Mac would eventually break but that never made me think about backing up my files. Now that my hard disk has gone down the toilet, I am left with nothing. Which means two things: 1) I have to reconstruct everything I have lemon-written for that business magazine while 2) drinking myself to death.

out of nowhere

There is a particular kind of talk I’ve come to despise over the years, and when I think about how—for a time—I tried to internalize it, I could not help but mentally throw up. It’s probably not that bad (not!) because I know and respect a few people who can pull it off without looking silly. It’s just not my cup of tea, I guess.

In other news, I just saw Scarlett Johansson promoting her movie with Woody Allen on David Letterman’s show. I can’t wait to see Match Point. I know it’s going to be a treat. If it doesn’t get shown here, the likelihood of which is tragically enormous, there’s always The Dutch Connection to address my needs and make me happy. Peachy says I have an “overriding fondness” for Woody Allen and all of his films. I say she’s putting it very mildly.
